Artificial Turf Installation Near Sanderson Avenue in Hemet

We install artificial turf near Sanderson Avenue in Hemet from our San Jacinto base. Older yards here mean narrow gates, hot west-facing exposure, and dog runs, so we plan base rock, shade, and drainage first. Installed turf usually runs about $9 to $12 per square foot.

Sanderson Avenue runs through some of the oldest residential blocks in Hemet, and the yards along it show it. Narrow side gates, long dog runs, and soil that has been watered and mowed for decades.

We are SoCal Artificial Turfs, a contractor based in San Jacinto, just a few miles east. Steve G. and his field crew install turf in these neighborhoods regularly.

What do Hemet yards need that others do not?

Heat is the big one. A west-facing Hemet yard can push surface temperature well past 130 degrees on a summer afternoon. We plan shade, turf choice, and a rinse routine around that before we ever order material.

Gates are the second. Many older homes here have 32 to 34 inch side gates, so base rock goes in by wheelbarrow at about 250 pounds at a time. That adds labor, and we say so in the quote.

How do we handle pet yards?

A homeowner off Sanderson called us in July because her six year old turf smelled every afternoon. A dog run along the fence line was the cause. Fresh infill and a deep clean fixed it, and a compacted base that drains well keeps it from coming back.

For new installs we build pet yards with drainage first. See our pet-friendly turf page for details.

What does turf cost near Sanderson Avenue?

On larger yards, installed turf usually runs about $9 to $12 per square foot. Small front yards can price closer to $15 because mobilization, dump runs, and compactor rental cost the same on any size job.

The turf itself is the smaller part of the quote. Base rock, haul-off, and labor are the rest. Our turf carries a 16-year manufacturer warranty.

Who will be on your job?
