We install a closed-cell foam shock pad beneath the turf surface that absorbs the impact of falls. The pad thickness is matched to the height of your play equipment -- taller structures get thicker padding. This system meets ASTM F1292 fall attenuation standards, which is the same standard used for commercial playgrounds at schools and parks.
The turf itself is soft, non-toxic, and lead-free. Kids can crawl, sit, and roll on it without irritation.
