Artificial Turf Installation in Summerly, Lake Elsinore

We install artificial turf in Summerly, Lake Elsinore, with base prep built for hillside slopes and clay soil. Our crew removes sod, compacts Class II base rock in lifts, and shapes drainage toward the street, so the turf stays flat, drains well, and holds up through hot summers.

Summerly yards sit on the hillside side of Lake Elsinore, and the ground there behaves differently from the flat lots closer to the lake. We plan every install around slope and drainage first, turf second.

SoCal Artificial Turfs is a contractor based in San Jacinto, and Lake Elsinore is part of our regular route.

What does base prep look like on a sloped Lake Elsinore lot?

We remove the existing sod and the top layer of soil, then bring in Class II base rock and compact it in lifts. On a graded slope, the base has to be shaped so water moves toward the street or drain instead of settling under the turf.

Clay-heavy soil is common in the area. It holds water and shifts, so skipping compaction is the fastest way to get ripples in the seams a year later.

How does summer heat change the job?

Afternoons in Lake Elsinore push turf surface temperatures well above air temperature. We choose pile height and color with that in mind and schedule seaming for the cooler morning hours so the adhesive cures right.

What about HOA approval?

Planned communities near Canyon Hills Road and Grand Avenue often want a sample and a layout before any work begins. We prepare both and tell you up front how long approval usually takes so the install date is realistic.
